SHIPPING POLICY

All products featured in the “SHOP” section of my website are available and ready to ship unless noted otherwise. Please allow 5-7 business days for handling before your piece ships. You will receive an email back with a tracking number once a label is created.

All original works ship in a custom-insulated box to protect your piece from heat and cold. However, I will make the best judgement on shipping during colder weather - I may delay shipping if extreme cold or heat is forecasted. Any delays in shipping will be communicated.

All orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail and are insured by me. Please understand that once the package leaves my possession, it’s officially out of my hands. I am not responsible for any lost or stolen packages!

RETURN POLICY

I do not accept returns or exchanges. If there is an issue with your piece, such as damages during transit, please reach out to me within 3 days of receiving your item. Pictures help so I can assess the damage! Luckily, damages rarely happen so these are handled on a case-by-case basis.

HOW TO CARE FOR ENCAUSTIC

Encaustic is of the oldest mediums. It is created with melted beeswax and damar resin that has been tinted with different pigments. It can be fragile, so handle with care.

Keep out of extreme temperatures - especially freezing. A dropped painting will shatter in freezing temps. Store between 50*-120* F.

Encaustic has a curing time of about 6-12 months. During this time, you may need to buff your painting to get back to its original shine. Do this when the painting is cool to the touch with a low-lint cotton cloth. I like an old t-shirt. Make sure you don’t buff too hard to create heat, but a little pressure is fine!
